Ironbridge Engineering is expanding their team of specialist consulting engineers. We are a growing consultancy providing facade, structural and access engineering, targeted and adaptive engineering services and difficult access inspections for the built environment. Our core areas are new build, remedial, heritage and compliance.
We are currently looking for a Structural Engineer to join our team.

The role
The successful candidate will ideally possess the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent. Higher education and Chartered status would be an advantage
- A mid to senior structural engineer with 5+ years’ experience
- Proven design and delivery experience
- Competent and experienced in providing technical expertise across a broad range of projects without close supervision
- Experience managing team members in the delivery of projects is desirable, but not necessary.
In your role as Structural Engineer, you will:
- directly assist the Structural Engineering Team Lead to develop and strengthen the existing Team offering;
- provide mentorship to younger staff so as to develop their skills in the field, including site testing and monitoring methods;
- take a leading role on site and in the delivery of novel and technically sound remedial solutions involving a variety of materials and construction methods;
- be responsible for the growth and development of client relationships, both within your home state and nationally, to secure a consistent work pipeline;
- assist in curating and implementing a culture of pride in quality and achievement.
